Here are some ideas to get us started...

Hi all!
This is so exciting to have a blog set up for us to share our adventures in LoveBug land.  So I thought I'd post some ideas of where to release these fun little critters and a source where I get pattern ideas.

First of all, I don't believe there is any real "rule " as to where to leave a LoveBug.  I am a firm believer in public transit.  Here in Eugene, Or , a lot of us utilize this mode of transport.  The bus is a great place to randomly release a LoveBug or two.

I've also left some in the library, on a park bench, at the gym and have even been so bold as to just walk up to a perfect stranger, who appears to be having a bad day, and just handing it to them.  Talk about instant gratification!  Seriously the look on that person's face was just priceless.  I didn't find it necessary to stand and wait for further response, the smile was simply enough to make my whole day!

As far as the patterns, I think anything can be made into a LoveBug.  I especially love the patterns of Anna Hrachovec,  Mochimochiland.  Her patterns can be found here on her website and many are free on ravelry.com One of my favorites to create as a LoveBug is the wonderfully adorable Humanbeans .  I make them all different colors and attach a little note to each one and before I set them free, I have a little pep talk with them (they're so anxious to get out there and start spreading the love) (~:

The possibilities are endless.  I hope this little chat was helpful and really look forward to some feedback.  Have a wonderful day everyone!
